Expired Polaroid. The El Born area in Barcelona is characterized by narrow medieval streets, the elegant Santa Maria del Mar Basilica, the former market hall El Born and several museums, such as the one dedicated to Picasso. While loaded with history, it is also a very lively place with restaurants, shops, and bars. These pictures seem to have been taken in the past, depicting monuments and streets that have been the silent witnesses of history. And some photos bring us back to the present showing modern sign boards and graffities. It should remind us that the present is always a result of the past and the past is always present. This project was made with expired Polaroid film in spring 2022.
