Urban landscape reloaded. The city is a very heterogeneous environment, full of elements with different shapes, colors, textures, and smells. We do not perceive them consciously, but we are able to identify an urban environment through them. This photographic project (2019) takes as its starting point the microcosm of a specific Barcelona urban landscape: the intersection of Girona and Consell de Cent streets. The idea is to invite the city inhabitant to stop, look, observe, and enjoy all the elements of their environment: to discover new worlds within their urban landscape. At first glance, all the chamfer intersections of the Eixample district look similar, but if we pay attention and observe carefully, we will discover elements that are not repeated anywhere else in the city, and which are therefore unique and characteristic. And when we re-compose all these elements, a visually richer city emerges. The project invites the viewer to re-discover their environment through a more attentive gaze, and ultimately, to look at the city with different eyes.
